Beer-rilliant fun at Oxted Beer Festival

Last month, we donned our festival finery and headed down to the Oxted Beer Festival – a fundraising event held in aid of local sporting organisations and charities.

Set in the heart of the small town, the festival boasts fantastic live music, entertainment and food; perfectly paired with over 100 real ales, ciders and craft lagers.

Image 2
Oxted Beer Festival started back in 2012 as a small local event. It now sees 10,000+ come through the gates, packed with people of all ages looking to enjoy a great day out.

Image 3
This year, we were proud sponsors of the event, marking the occasion with some of our creative – because that’s what we do best!

Our full-page advert took centre stage in the festival programme and if you ask us, our bold orange branding looked right at home alongside shades of beer.

As sponsors of both the festival and No. 17 Amarillo Beer, we were given the opportunity to have our very own marquee. The Wilmot Budgen design team wasted no time in creating branded panels to deliver the perfect WB festival breakout space – nicely modelled by Peter Burford (Director), and Alan Staveley, (Project Manager) below!

The festivities continued long into the night and as the sunset over Oxted, the stars took to the stage and entertained the crowds.

Image 6
Sophie Ellis Bexter was a Wilmot Budgen favourite. Wearing one of our WB hats (that we couldn’t resist throwing on stage) and a sparkly ensemble that rivalled the stars in the sky!

Wilmot-Budgen Exhibits Top Design and Branding Solution for Top To Tail Clothing

We are very pleased to have worked with the fantastic Top to Tail Clothing team @ The Mastergroom Exhibition 2017.
They supplied a logo then we worked with it, extending the branding across all of their chosen printed elements. The approved artwork design was used across several elements:
* Business cards
* Signage
* A-Frame
* Stickers
* Coat hanger sleeves

* Changing room curtains
* Packaging
* Folding counter display

* Leaflets

We designed, printed and assembled the entire display, producing the job from start to finish.

We printed each element using various methods and materials. Materials ranged from corrugated to foamcore, and made-to-measure curtains for the changing room. We printed everything in-house. Once the design of this bespoke framework met the client’s requirements we then applied black powder coatings, to ensure the display really stood out within the exhibition hall.

Both Top to Tail Clothing and Wilmot-Budgen are very pleased with the final outcome.

Leap into spring with bold Baccarat displays

We were delighted to have had another opportunity to collaborate with A Sprinkle of Deco and Art Ltd via the Baccarat’s in-store POS team to create a Springtime themed installation, based at the world renowned department store, Harrods.IMG_3424
The printed blue display reflects the elegance of their new beautiful blue crystal products and enhances the other clear and varied coloured crystal pieces too.
Once the weight trials and artwork were approved, the printed finished product was implemented in-store.
The display was produced using a fire retardant material.
As you can see it is visually impactful, striking and stands out amongst the rest of the neighbouring standees. It most definitely showcases the mesmerizing crystal springtime gifts.

Once briefed, the Design Studio will then create renders and present visuals to the Client. When the design has been selected, the units are then artworked and colour prototypes are printed. It then follows on through to the client approval process.

The creative Design Studio at Wilmot Budgen, is constantly bringing exciting new ideas to the table.

We are proud to work with a wide range of prestigious brands, relaying their branding across their display units. We often collaborate with other agencies, and advise on structural options, in order to make a design work and be  fundamentally  fully operational. MaxFactor P13 Skin Soother FSU

For example, the Design Studio created the L’Oréal standardised FSDU design. It is now so familiar and unique in store that, even without seeing the actual brand name, the shape and style of the FSDU communicates the brand itself. With the structure being so highly recognisable and easily identifiable in store, makes for a strong and successful design.

Fuji Display

Wilmot-Budgen and Fuji print presses = Fun, Flash and Flamboyant displays at CCE International, Munich 2017

We are excited to announce that we are now live at Corrugated and Cardboard Exhibition International 2017.and have proudly just unveiled the show-stopping displays that we produced with Fuji.

The aim was to make the displays as colourful as possible with a focus on showcasing Fuji’s print press capabilities and being able to digitally print vibrant and strong colours direct to cardboard.

The brief solely consisted of a key visual and a fictional brand logo. We produced three mood boards from the brief provided by Fuji.

Once Fuji chose their preferred board, we created and designed a cosmetics brand and a range of displays from scratch. We utilised the design and branding across all units.

The visuals we supplied are very similar to the finished product. Fuji and Wilmot-Budgen are extremely pleased with the end result.

A video will be uploaded soon, which will show the whole process from start to finish – including design, visualisation, structure, production, assembly and installation.
