Be safe when you have fun in the sun!
Any parent will tell you how much of a pain it is to get kids to apply sun cream during the summer months. All too often the manic rush to dive into a welcoming pool unprotected can have scorched consequences and ruin the first few days of the family holiday.
This year Garnier Ambre Solaire joined forces with Universal Studios to turn Sun Cream into Fun Cream! The recent release of The Minions movie provided the perfect backdrop for this launch and more importantly paved the way for a fun based learning campaign to provide crucial information to help protect kids from the perils of the sun’s rays.
Wilmot Budgen worked closely with both Garnier Ambre Solaire and Universal Studios to provide eye catching and educative display stands to support this initiative. Darren Low, the account manager, spearheaded the project with creative help from both Dan Rose, senior graphic designer, and Ana Estrada, structural designer and 3D visualizer.
Initially the concept work involved designing multiple point of sale samples ranging from trolley hangers to wobblers as well as escalator vinyl stickers and a children’s activity centre. This was finally developed into actual production units comprised of FSUs, Trays and Gondola Ends as can be seen in the image above.
Please note…no minions were hurt in the making of this blog but Garnier Ambre Solaire’s key message of:
“Safe little ones = happy grown-ups = more fun for everyone” nicely summarises the main objectives of this fun promotion.
