Outstanding branding that stands out from the crowd.

Following a 6 month project, we are proud to announce the launch of a branding project for Garnier Ambre Solaire for their new look in-store point of sale. This once again confirms Wilmot Budgen’s reputation as creators of prestigious point of sale for the world’s leading brands.

Working closely with Garnier Ambre Solaire’s POS and marketing teams, our multi-disciplinary creative team comprising of Dan Rose (senior graphic designer), Ana Estrada (construction designer) and Darren Low (account manager) were tasked to create several concepts for the new POS branding. It was felt that the previous brand created confusion for the consumer due to the varying mix of logos and strap lines on the units and a fresh approach was needed to clarify the messaging.

We actually won this project following a tender process and felt that simplicity in our design approach contributed to this success. In particular, the ability to differentiate the sub brand from the core brand in order to create greater message clarity and focus on all the display units.
The new branding was rolled out across various POS units including mid and end gondolas, blips, FSU’s, till units and in line plinths. The 3D visual accompanying this article shows the breadth of products that were produced for this campaign.

We were also asked to supply the branding guidelines they had created in PDF format to international design companies so that the branding could be carried across to press, TV and web advertising.

Whilst the golden age of sun worship may be coming to an end, the message of sun protection will be reflected throughout all retailers this summer, thanks to this Garnier Ambre Solaire and Wilmot Budgen collaboration.
