Gliding through the chin with the flexball of ease

Over the past two months, anyone passing through Waterloo station or watching Sky Sports could not have failed to notice Gillette’s largest ever product launch “The Gillette® Fusion Proglide with Flexball Technology.™”

Having pioneered numerous shaving solutions over the past few decades, Gillette have once again revolutionised the world of male grooming with the concept of Flexball technology. This combines the very finest Gillette blades with an advanced handle (featuring the breakthrough Flex-Ball technology) and enables the razor to pivot in multiple directions over the contours of the face to provide the smoothest shave imaginable.

The project was initiated by Communisis on behalf of Proctor and Gamble who tasked Wilmot Budgen to create prestigious point of sale for the campaign launch. The artwork was provided through design agency N-Fuze.

For this project we provided 3D point of sale, ladder racking, trays and various stands, all produced before the start of the campaign and delivered to retailers pre-launch. The real challenge was the moving cardboard mechanism for the flexi-head and once again our design team came up trumps with a novel solution which can be seen in the attached video.
